PlagScan Plagiarism Checker

PlagScan is a web-based service software to investigate the authenticity of content. Submitted documents will be checked against web sources and internal submissions within the institution.

The software employs a highly advanced two-step algorithm, which is based on the latest research in computer linguistics and constantly updated. The rigorous copyright and data security regulations protect all data from third parties and enables the users to regulate their own settings according to their needs.

PlagScan is subscription-based and can be tested in a free trial on www.plagscan.com. Organizations and institutions can contact the support team for a quote.

Thanks for sharing this plugin with the Moodle community. Some formal issues were detected and reported by our automated plugin checker tool. Please review all the plugin checker results and fix the issues mentioned, if possible. These changes are typically pretty easy to make but if you have any questions just let us know.

Please provide the plugin description into the text fields in the form, instead of providing a link to an external PDF file.

Thanks. Can you please edit the upload version details and select the supported Moodle versions? Without that, we are unable to review the plugin and integrate this fully into our infrastructure.

Hi guys. Thanks for sharing this plugin with the Moodle community. I believe the file php_errors.log is included in the package by mistake. You may consider to get rid of it. I am going to approve the plugin now. You are cleared to land, welcome to the Plugins directory!

What is the cost of the plugin for educational organizations?
Can a plugin work only for internal anti-plagiarism?

When we made plagiarism checker, we try to make it as simple as possible and help the community to get the content, which is unique and original. If for instance, you think that, the content has been used maliciously and should be reported to the authorities. To use this plagiarism checker, please copy and paste your content in the box below, and then click on the big red button that says “Check Plagiarism!” then sit back and watch as your article is scanned for duplicated content. Recaptcha requires verification.

Just noting a bug if you install this plugin on a 3.11 site: When editing an activity or resource, the 'Save and display' button takes you to the course page rather than displaying the activity or resource.

The bug is reported as https://github.com/PlagScan/PlagScan_moodle/issues/31

Please see MDL-72401 for more details.
