IMPORTANT NOTE: Atto has been added core for Moodle 2.7. You are free to install this plugin DB version on Moodle versions before 2.7 - but you will have to delete it entirely before upgrading to 2.7 (delete the lib/editor/atto folder). There are no settings here to lose - so upgrades will not be an issue - the new version in Moodle 2.7 is looking super nice and I hope you all like it.

Hi Milhouse - you don't need to install this plugin on Moodle 2.7 or any later version because it was added to core and made the default editor in that version. If you are already on Moodle 2.7 or higher - you already have (a much better version of) this plugin.

Hello, since hours i try to put a HTML entity () inside the text of a heading, but atto editor always either prints the entity als text or removes it at all after saving. Tried it as hex enitiy-numer as well as asentity-name - nothing worked!

I really need some help, I tried to install Atto Editor into Moodle 2.5.3 and It was validated but when I went to install it I have gotten a server error:
"The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator to inform of the time the error occurred and of anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log."

The hosting company cannot help and I am an Intern who was trying to help because the html editor that exists on our moodle platforms are faulty, so now I am left with a moodle site that cannot be accessed, thankfully it is a development site for testing purposes but I still need help. TIA

Hi guys,
I logged onto my control panel where the site is hosted and deleted the plugin and thankfully the site is working again. But could anybody help me and suggest why this plugin cause the server error in the first place as we really need a working html editor for our moodle sites. TIA

I am using Moodle 3.1 and for some reason the Online Text editor won't work on the Moodle Mobile app, it says that the plugin is not support... Can you suggest anything?

The Atto editor is great for depicting Bootstrap elements, but mine has suddenly stopped working on image insertions - the Browse Repository button simply stops working

I have hidden all versions of this old plugin now. Atto has been the default editor in Moodle for a long time and this version in the plugins DB was only for unsupported versions of Moodle before 2.7.

Do not report problems with Atto here - create an issue in the Moodle Tracker (http://tracker.moodle.org/) with the correct component.

Is there a way to avoid atto (including the use o one other editor) to change the text when closing it ? It transforms " to "e; I understand that it might be useful but it is not when the html code is something like img="/images/logo.png"
Thanks

Hi, I would like to download this editor please, I can't find the way to recover it, I unstalled it because some sub-atto plugin made my web fail. And I thought uninstalling it, I would solve the proble, which I did, but now i cant find the way to get the editor back. Please help!

If you accidentally delete Atto Editor, you must install it manually by downloading Atto from Gitbub.
