Hi Mikhail. And thanks for sharing the block with the community. I really like the idea and the concept of the block from social and education perspective. During the code review, I discovered some issues that might be better to be addressed before the plugin is approved here. For now, I am marking this as needing more work. Thanks for your patience with the review and approval process.

Hi David, thanks for taking the time to review my code. I have addressed the issues you raised and created a pull request so that you can easily see all the changes https://github.com/getsmarter/moodle-block_meet_the_students/pull/8. GitHub closed the issues when I referenced them in my commits. Should I re-open them? I'm not sure how you prefer to do this.

Thanks. Well, I did not expect you would create pull requests on github. It's your repository, you commit to it. Once you believe you are done and all fixes are on github, just upload the new zip package version here (add new version) and request re-approval (there's a button for that).

Thanks Mikhail for the fixes. Even though I spotted one little bug in the code yet (please see your tracker), I am happy to approve this now. You are cleared to land, welcome to the Plugins directory.

    HI Mikhail,
While testing the plugin on my local development site M2.9, I found a small bug. My site is installed in root/moodle directory and when I am clicking the link "Meet all Learners" link in the block it will go to the link /user/index.php?contextid=xx without the moodle directory i.e.the URL has changed from something like localhost/moodle/user/index.php?contextid=XX to localhost/user/index.php?contextid=XX
Can you please check if I am the only one who is facing the same problem?

    Hi David and Jaswinder,
Thanks for pointing out the problem with the link. I have fixed it and uploaded a new version of the plugin.

Just found this plugin and it is exactly what I was looking for. I think it is really suitable for improving the "emotional design" of a Moodle site. It might be nice to have more display options for the profile pictures, for example I think a circular rather than square appearance might look better. It would be nice to be able to configure more information to be displayed on mouse-over too, for example, the city and/or country field in addition to the participant name.

Do you plan an update for Moodle 3?
