Moove frontpage

Moove frontpage

The new theme is more robust and standardized, texts, backgrounds, and fonts are uniform and enjoyable.

You can directly login to the environment, no more redirects, but if you like, the login page was customized and it is awesome too.

Moodle course view

You can check the course progress in each topic. To use that you need to follow the instructions below:

  1. Enable course completion tracking
  2. Use the topic formats
  3. In Course layout mark show one section per page
  4. Configure the activities completion

The only theme with accessibility focus.

Accessibility features

  • Font type — currently there are only options to choose between the default font and the OpenDyslexic font. This is a new open-source font created to increase readability for readers with dyslexia.
  • Enable accessibility toolbar — the bar has options for increasing and decreasing the site font size, and 3 different types of text contrast can be chosen.

The accessibility bar was inspired by the accessibility block, but all javascript has been rewritten, along with how the stylesheets are displayed.

When enabled, the accessibility bar is displayed at the top of the site, as you can see below.

Moodle is awesome, but we can be better together!

With a lot of enhanced pages and new features

Moove frontpage

Dashboard for admins

The Moove Dashboard is available only for site administrators. You can see the disk usage, online users, total of courses, and users.

I am thinking of what to add, the next step is to work hard towards a fully responsive theme. Please, feel free to send suggestions and feedback. Your opinion helps to improve this theme, you are part of this! =)

Exclusive certificates page

Moove has a new and exclusive page where your users can see all issued certificates. The theme works with the Simple Certificate and Custom Certificate modules.

I tried Moove on , it was all good but I wasn't able to fix angular issues when I tried customization. Gonna give it another try now, lets see how it goes

Hi Willian - if I purchase the premium theme - how does it actually work once purchased? Is it a completely separate plugin to the free Moove plugin that has to be installed, tested and configured, or is it something that somehow makes changes to the already installed and configured Moove plugin that I have? I cannot find any documentation on this anywhere?

    Hi William,

I have the same problem as Helder Pereira, after updating moodle to Moodle 3.11.2 and Moove to 3.11.05.

If you have already dealt with this incident, could you publish a new version here in the repository?

    Below is debug info:

Sergio Lara verify if you have the right version of the theme for the right version of your Moodle.
  • Sat, Aug 14, 2021, 1:21 AM
Dave Foord you will replace the free moove with the premium, them the upgrade process will run, and you will have access to the new features and settings.

Something that I have noticed when using the Moove theme, is if I embed an H5p object into a page within a book, the H5p object will have a line of script calling a javascript function to resize the object to fit the available space. However, the Moove theme then has similar line of script (I am told), to re-align the contents of the screen to best fit. The consequence of this with the book, is the table of contents which appears on the right hand side, if some of the headings are longer, the block will widen, making the main content narrower, but the H5p script has already run - the result being that the right hand side of it is not shown and a horizontal scroll bar is added. Not sure what the solution is to this (can it be made that the Moove script runs before the H5p script somehow) - but thought I would flag it up in case you hadn't seen it before.

As a sort of solution I have removed teh H5p javascript line from the embed code, and set the width of the item to 100%, which is great for the width - but I then have to specify an exact height of the item, which has to be set bigger than needed, to account for different size screens etc.

Hello. I am running Moove version 2021052100 on Moodle 3.11 and I cannot turn my topics in tiles within a course. Was this disabled in the free version? Can someone point me to the right direction?

Hello Willian, we have Moodle 3.10.4 running with Moove version 2020110900 (3.10.01) and we have just found a problem at profile page: when we click "Add Contact" button (left side) then appears an "Invalidparameter" message. If we use the other "Add contact" link at "Details" tab then it works ok.
This failed button is exclusive from moove theme and it doesn't appear at themes as boost, for example.
We would be very grateful if you could help us to correct this problem.

Hellow William, I have just found the cause of the "invalidparameter" error when we click "Add Contact" at Profile Page (left side). It's because "data-currentuserid" attribute is missing at that button. I've added this attribute at this button in moove/templates/mypublic.mustache and it has run.
I hope it could be helpful for anymore.

I don't have the settings button when I'm in a "test". Is it a bug?

I am looking to possibly use this theme. I have exported my Moodle site with all my courses and data to a new server and want to know, is there anything I need to do to get my courses on the new theme with some changes here and there perhaps, or is it done automatically once you have the theme? I have always used Moodle could so have not had the luxury of using other themes, so not sure how it all works.

    Thank you

I'm having a problem with the Moove theme. When I activate the theme, the Action Menu, which should be in the role of Instructor and Administrator, does not appear on the Exam screen. Other themes like Boost and Classic also appear.

Note: I am not using any extra CSS.
    What should I do?
