The original menubar based theme for Moodle rewritten for Moodle 2.5+ to draw its base from Bootstrap.

The theme features customised icons and a profile section in the menubar ported from the previous version but with a more modern interface that adapts to different devices.

Two other new features added to this latest version are General Alert and Snow Alert. Allowing easy implementation of alerts to users for events such as Student Council Meetings, Charity Events or Snow Closures.

Inspiration taken from the Essential theme by Julian Ridden for the block icons.

    Shaun,
I am testing your theme on moodle 2.6.2. How would I get all blocks to be on the right side of the screen? With it being a bootstrap theme I am not sure if I can just go into the config.php and change things. Thanks.

When using the Gradebook and the setting in Site Admin > Grades > General Settings , Static Student Column , the gradebook has the students in the top by itself then the grades on the bottom, see

Hi Shaun, this theme is not fit to be marked as 2.6 or 2.7 as it is flawed and breaks the gradebook.
You should have looked at how Bootstrap/Clean themes have been constructed before resubmitting this.
The major problem is in the config.php where you still have grade and block stylesheets excluded. This is no longer the case in Bootstrapbase/Clean themes as of Moodle 2.6.

On an iPad in portrait, the calendar block displays incorrectly. The numbers display outside the block, any ideas on how to fix this please? Thanks in advance

Hi, bumping up an "old" issue here. layout\Popup.php still crashes on me (line 33, can't get the device type) and I have no idea why.
Deleting the popup.php file at least shows the content of the popup (but with more errors listed at the top, saying that popup.php is unreachable).
    Help?

Hi, try adding embedded.php in the pop-up $THEMES->layouts by just changing popup.php to embedded.php that you will find in aardvark/config,php that should fix it.

Is there a way to adjust the resolution at which the menu disappears into the dropdown? I only have two menu items and it would be nice to have them always visible without an extra click. Thanks!

Is anyone able to provide guidance on cloning the aardvark theme. We have tried copying and changing the names, but it doesn't seem to work. I can't get the new themes to appear in the admin block.

Cloning Themes is easy when you know how but even so I have never yet managed to clone one and have work first time, there is always something I have forgotten to do!
Post a question in the themes forum today and I'll help you all I can. Also make you you tell me which version of Aardvark are you trying to clone? And also which version of Moodle you are using?
    Thanks
    Mary
