Hello! I have a problem. Since the last update of the plugin, multiple tires are not working properly. I had a question that had multiple tries enabled and hints added to it. But now, all the content from the hints is gone and I get plugins' feedback when I answer the question wrong. Also, there is no "Try again" button. How can I get it to work like it used to?

    Hi,

I really like the ordering question type. We are using it in Moodle system in our higher education institution. Our institution use Moodle 3.1 and Moodle mobile 3.1.1. In the Moodle mobile 3.1, quizzes are integrated with the mobile app. https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Moodle_Mobile_3.1.0_release_notes. However, the question type is not integrated with Moodle mobile app. When clicking into a quiz with the question type, it appears a warning message, "This quiz cannot be attempted in teh app because it has access rules not supported by the app: quizaccess_ordering".

The developer of “gapfill" question type asked about this issue in the Moodle forum. The official Moodle mobile developer has replied the forum. Generally, some development need to be done in the question type plugin side. He also provides detailed guide in the reply: https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=334322

I really hope you can integrated the ordering question type with Moodle mobile. It will also benefit a lot for other users.

Hi, drag and drop is not working for me either after successful installation and activity creation in my course. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Hi, We are using this question type a lot, thanks for providing this!
But we were wondering if it is possible to have multiple correct answers?
For example A-B-C-D, A-C-B-D and B-C-D-A are correct, all others are not.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks already!

Hi, interesting idea - it is certainly possible, but I have no plans to implement it soon. If you wish to continue this discussion, please do so over on github.com: https://github.com/gbateson/moodle-qtype_ordering/issues

    Hi Tobias
If you set this up as a multiple choice question instead, it might be clearer to students that multiple correct answers are possible.

Hi, any reason that the latest version skipped MDL-3.3?

I have discovered that this plugin is creating a javascript error once the moodle core is updated to v3.8+ (published on 12/5/2019). With the plugin installed it prevents certain types of navigation in the site while using the boost theme. I uninstalled every plugin I had on the site (of a test copy of my production site) one by one, purged all caches, until I found the culprit and for me it was qtype_ordering. Once I uninstalled this plugin the site navigation worked as designed.

The specifics of navigation problems are as follows: the tabs for the administration page where unresponsive and also the upper right profile navigation didn't work until this plugin was uninstalled

    Hello Gordon,
You may want to update the "More documentation on this plugin" link under "Useful links" on this page.

    Hello Gordon.
The ordering dragging is not functioning on mobile when accessing it from the browser. I cannot drag using my finger.
