Thanks for your reply. I installed moodle 2.6+ build 20131220 and also installed the gift media in the appropriate folder. It does not work. It does not work even in the degenarte case of pure GIFT with no media. My test file works fine with GIFT MEDIA on moodle Moodle 2.5.3 (Build: 20131111). Can you kindly verify? If you need a test file that I am using I will be happy to send you mine.

Thanks for the report, it appears I have forgotten to upload the version for Moodle 2.6 and 2.6 to the plugin directory so in fact when you download it you get the version for Moodle 2.4 and it gives the errors you reported. I will correct the problem but if you are in a hurry, you can download the correct version from my github account https://github.com/jmvedrine/moodle-qformat_giftmedia. You need to download the master branch version, click on the "Download ZIP" button on the right of the page.

This plugin has been verified to work with Moodle versions up to 3.4 and there is now a documentation page explaining how to insert images, sounds, ... into the questions.

How about essay questions? would it upload with media in question?

It should work for all fields that are supported by the GIFT format and that support images in Moodle. But as I have not specifically tested the essay question type, I will make some tests and report.

As I was suspecting it works with no problem importing an essay question with images in the question text.

Hello Mikhail, if you have a problem and your essay questions are not imported you can send me a sample file so that I can see if there is a problem my mail is now vedrine __at__ vedrine __ dot___ net. The most frequent error is that people forget to put a backslash before the equal character when they write src="..."
