This module allows you to schedule, host, and attend WebEx meetings from within Moodle. You can manage and view recordings for the meetings from with Moodle as well.

The WebEx Meeting activity allows Moodle to seamlessly integrate with WebEx.

  • Seamlessly creates users for meeting hosts.
  • Schedule meetings simply by adding the activity.
  • Host or join meeting from within Moodle.
  • Hosts can view a sharable link for non-Moodle users to join the meeting.
  • Recordings are automatically associated with the activity, allowing students (or teachers) to go back and view past sessions from within the activity.
  • Ability to hide, rename, or delete recordings from an activity.
  • Admins can use the module to help manage all recordings in WebEx.

Current Limitations
This software is currently in beta, so there are a number of known limitations (and there are expected to be unfound bugs):

  • Backup and Restore do not work.
  • Only Training Center and Meeting Center are supported.

    I have installed and configured the pluggin correctly (i hope) but y got this error: An error occurred while trying to connect: 28:Connection timed out after 120000 milliseconds. What can i do? Thanks!

    I installed the latest 3.8.0 into my 3.6.3 Moodle and it caused issues with the adhoc tasks due to the upgrade_calendars task requiring the logging trait which doesn't exist in 3.6.3. This caused my mdl_task_adhoc table to queue up for a couple weeks. Can you please update the version requirement for 3.8.0 to not include 3.6?

    I successfully realized the integration with the plugin. But my only problem is that I can't see the recordings over the moodle. What should I do for it?

    I installed the lastest 3.8.0 into my Moodle version 3.8.3 but I had an error "
    Coding error detected, it must be fixed by a programmer: WebEx exception 000001 when creating new user.". Could you help me to resolve this bug? thanks so much.

    Thank you for the nice plugin. I have tested it with Moodle 3.9. I found two unusual behavior.
    1. Domain
    I tested this plugin from two domains. Registered in Webex site and not.
    The results were same.
    Once the error was shown 'not registered domain'.
    After back page by browser, then click activity,
    Webex starts from both domains.
    I think only registered site can connect.

    2. Editing the activity
    Making the activity and saving.
    Then editing the meeting time, but the changing did NOT affected.

    Thanks for this great plug-in. I have installed it successfully. However, the recording are not saved in the admin account from my organization but in my private account that I use as a person. Do you have any ideas what might be wrong with the set-up? I would like the recordings to be saved in the admin account that we use as a team as well.

    And the second question I have. I have clicked to manage all recordings in the Webex cloud. Now I have access to recordings I do not need. If I delete them from Moodle, I just delete them from the learning management system. They will still be available in the Webex Cloud, right?

    Any progress to have it in version 3.10?
