    This is a great addition to Moodle.
    Maybe it might be worth considering to add it to Moodle core.
    Would Eloy please look into it?
    Thanks a lot!

    Looks Great! Is there a chance it will work on 2.4?

    I like the plugin.. works great with version 2.4.4 (20130513)

    The only problem I detected was there is no Error Trapping / Exception Handling - So when you accidently put usernames into the "Login as users by id" which produces the error, the error displays "Error reading from database" and locks everyone out of site.

    Work around is to Edit: mdl_config and look for loginas_loginasusers, edit value.

    // MS SQL query
    UPDATE mdl_config
    SET value=''
    WHERE mdl_config.name='loginas_loginasusers'

    This looks like a great time saver! Is there an expected time frame for when it will be 2.5 compatible?

    Does this plugin have anything to do with this role capability?

    Thanks for this great little plug-in, Itamar! Works well overall it but it seems to ignore the Force Group Mode. In other words, a teacher in Group A can log in as students in Group B even thought the course is set to keep these groups/users separate. Any ideas on how work around this?
