This plugin allows the Moodle administrator to define as many correction types as wanted (e.g. orthographic error, pronoun error, capitalization, etc.). Buttons in the Atto editor then allow users to make inline marks in texts.

The new updated version of this plugin should now address all known problems, and works in Moodle 2.7-2.9

    Hello Nicolas
First let me say how useful this plugin is and I want to thank you for maintaining it. Any plans for a Moodle 3.0 version? I tested it in Moodle 3.0.4 and it doesn't retain the corrections...

    Hello Paullo,

Thanks for your feedback. I'll have a look at it shortly as we're upgrading to Moodle 3.1 this summer. So I'll have to have it work for Moodle 3.0 as well. Stay tuned, the new version will be posted here when ready.

    Hi Aurelien,

    Hi Nicolas,
I have enable everything. The plugin does work on few instances such as when i write message throughout the plugin "homework". I think the error is due to the way the button is meant to appear as you select the text.

    Hi Aurelien,
I don't understand. Can you explain step by step exactly what happens when the plugin does not work as expected?

Just to clarify for any new potential users:

The way to use this for adding comments/corrections to students' answers on essay items within the quiz module, etc., is to copy/paste their answers into your own text box and annotate it there.

Just FYI: When I select a correction type with the dropdown on the button, it is only reflected in the correction window the first one or two assignments. After that, regardless of what I select, the dropdown in the entry window has reset to my top correction in the list.
