Kaltura plug-ins for Moodle 2.1 - 2.x and 3.x

Kaltura's Video Package for Moodle 2.x makes it easy to add the robust capabilities of Kaltura's open

* My Media: users’ personal media gallery, for uploading, viewing, managing, and sharing media

* Create screen recordings and use them in the Kaltura activities

* Integration as an external repository with the file picker accessible from the text editor: embed your media or media you have access to, anywhere you can author text

In addition, Teachers and Admins have the following features available:

* Video Resource activity: Easily add video content to your course as a specialized resource

* Video Presentation activity: Create a synchronized view of a Document and a Video

* Video Assignment activity: Allows students to submit videos as an assignment submission

* View engagement reports for videos used on your course

I'm trying to install this plugin (2.8 or 2.7 V) to moodle 2.8.3. This is the error I have received "Invalid structure of the ZIP package". Can someone help me?

So I'm a Moodle administrator / developer for the University of Wisconsin - Madison. We're in the process of upgrading our sites to Moodle 2.8, and this plugin just doesn't work on Moodle 2.8, even though the plugins page says that the most recent version does.

In looking through and debugging, it appears that the issue deals with the LTI api changing for Moodle 2.8 due to LTI 2 becoming available. The biggest thing that I've found is that the resource link id paramter is missing from the request as that's what the KAF sends back as an error.

After attempting to add this back in my local code of your plugin, and then trying to launch I get Access Denied from the KAF. Are you guys working on this?

And if not, or are very early in the process, how might I help speed this up?

We are also having the same problem at the University of Portland as John Hoopes described. Getting a "Video is not available on this site" message when trying to use the Atto Kaltura Media embed button. Also, the Kaltura Media text filter does not work properly when attempting to copy/paste a video URL into the text editor. We are on Moodle 2.8. Was this plugin actually tested with 2.8?

The plugin name is "Kaltura release 4.0.07 for Moodle 2.9 (2015091609)" but... it's works only for Kaltura version 4? Because I'm working with Kaltura CE 9.19 and I don't know if its works and if the release 4.0.07 it's about the plugin or about Kaltura.

We are just enabling the Kaltura plugin at the University of Illinois. The one thing that I notice is that the plugin uses a separate module for the Kaltura Media Assignment. This is the way that assignments used to work in Moodle, but there have been updates since version 2.2. Are there plans to integrate the Kaltura Media Assignment as a submission type in the regular Moodle assignment module. This would make the Kaltura plugin work more in line with how other things work in Moodle.
