THEME_WAXED

Theme_Waxed is a child theme of Moodle's new core theme Boost.

It is built on Boostrap4 and Mustache templates.

In addition to Boost's preset settings, Wax adds:

1. Presets - presets added by ftp/ssh to the theme/scss/presets folder will
be automatically added to the presets drop down, in addition to those uploaded
via the user interface.
2. Colours - additional brad colour pickers to fine tune the seleected presets,
along with the standard pre/post raw scss custom settings.
3. Content - a footnote setting to add standard content into the footer space
4. Heading and images - add a page background image and a default heading background
image - the heading image can be overridden at a course level by adding an image
banner to the course summary files. A separate login page background image can also
be added.
5. Social networking icons - a panel of social icons can be created, including self-
defined icons.

Thanks Richard for sharing this theme with the Moodle community. It provides some interesting features and concepts and extends the functionality of the standard Boost theme. As such it can be used for easy prototyping and experimenting with the site look and feel.

I am happy to go and approve it now. Good luck with further development of the theme, and thanks for your patience with the review and approval process. You are cleared to land, welcome to the Plugins directory.

    Thanks David.
Hmm - most of those pluginBot errors appear to be upstream things (no excuse smile ) - will look at them anyway and get them sorted asap
Have actioned the suggestions you added to github and will upload an updated version with those minor fixes as soon as I can.

re Pluginsbot Prechecker - Is there a way to access the prechecker as a developer? I have used the code-checker plugin as I had previously and only get 3 errors which all relate to uppercase being used in a function name in autoprefixer.

Hi there, we use waxed on our moodle 3.2 project site. Is there an option to fill the blank space on the top of the login page, to the right of the logo - like here https://www.digitalne-vescine.si/
    Thank you?

If you mean the front page, the header space can hold a default header image banner which is set in the theme settings.

Oh, thanks. I see, but can this be done only for login page, because otherwise, we have "breadcrums" in it. And BTW in the latest version, even if background image is not set, I get some "blue-ish" image in the header background - I thing default should be "none"
