Rocket is a professional high customisable theme for those who wish their Moodle site to look less moodley. It is a fixed width theme with multiple block locations.

As this is an advanced theme using some very new Moodle 2 functions (I don't think used yet in other themes) I strongly recommend reading the documemtation via the link below.

A demo of this theme in action can be seen at http://features.demo.moodle.com.au/

Please view the sample screenshot below to see an image identifying key theme features.

Should you have issues with the using the theme, please post your comments in the forums. If you have a bug or a patch, please post these in the Moodle Tracker using the link below

Dumb question, but is this theme compatible with 2,7? I know it's not listed officially but I'm reading mixed comments about it.

I use Moodle 2.7.1. During automatic installation (the latest build: 20140823) from this website a few minutes ago, I got the "Validation failed" message. The problem is with the "Required Moodle version". Is the theme NOT compatible with 2.7.1?

Hello and thank you for the effort.

I followed the automatic installation procedure once again both for my main and testing websites but the error message is the same. Perhaps there is something wrong with the installation profile itself but I have neither time nor enough expertise to deal with this. If you need, I can send you credentials for the admin of the testing website so that you can check the problem first hand.

Once again, I thank the Team for the effort.

    Best regards.

    Hi Nick,
Thanks for reaching out to us!

    1. Top link : The Top Links in the left top region of rocket theme. This is a new Block location that appears on the Homepage Only. Any block may be placed here that you like.

    2. search/profile : The Search/Prolfile placed under the top link region of rocket theme . This location has been specifically designed to take either the Global Search block or the Logged in User block. Both are reformatted by the theme to best suit the location. As this location is small you will find not many other blocks fit here except maybe the HTML block.

    for details : https://docs.moodle.org/22/en/Rocket_theme

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you need further clarification.

    Regards,
    Arindam

    Hi,

I just installed a Rocket theme in a website after their update to Moodle 2.7.1+ and the problem is that the activity chooser went grey when clicked on, frozen. Impossible to make a choice. Impossible to see any bug info.

Do you know what can be the problem?
