Archaius

Important!

Sadly, I don't have time to work actively on the project, I can answer questions, but I am not going to develop any major change. If you want to contribute as developer I can help you to get started with the project. Just ping me.

Thanks a lot to Barbara Ramiro and David for their suggestions, I will try to improve everything you said.

Moodle 3.2

I have received several emails asking why Archaius doesn't work on Moodle 3.2. The quick answer is: it does. you just have to install the base theme (https://moodle.org/plugins/theme_base), I think I am going to remove that dependency to avoid problems in the future.

Best regards,

Daniel

    Great theme indeed, I'm loving the support that is being provide for it.

    My question is: I don't require a custom menu, but when I go to the mobile version it has the custom menu expansion button visible. Is there a way to remove it?

    Thanks
    Steven

    Hi Steven,

    If you add this line to your custom css I should disappeared:

    @media screen and (max-width: 768px){
    #page-header div.menu-icon{
    display:none;
    }
    }

    Regards,
    Daniel.

    Hi Daniel,

    I need one more disappear act.

    On the homepage, above "My Courses" there in a blank bar. If it helps, when I 'inspect element' on Chrome and copy the CSS path it's:

    #yui_3_17_2_2_1425958183869_215

    Thanks for your time Daniel, much appreciated.

    Cheers
    Steven

    Is there a way too make the courses expandable on default? I know it goes against the essence of the theme. Thanks!

    I think your question is great, and I was thinking in that in january but I haven't had enough time to do everything I want. For the moment you can achieve what you want doing what I explain in this super short post:

    If you have any problem, let me know.

    Regards,
    Daniel.

    Hola Daniel, me encanta el formato archaius y lo tengo en todos los cursos que hago. Me encuentro con un problema, que los alumnos no pueden ver "mis calificaciones" en su bloque menú, no encuentro la forma de activarlo para que puedan acceder a sus notas.
    Un saludo

    Howdy,
    Is it possible to get the breadcrumb to start from home rather than the dashboard?

    Thanks

    Que tal Daniel. Ante nada, gracias por el excelente tema, se adapta perfecto a lo que busco. Hace unos días actualice a Moodle 2.9 y vi que una de sus novedades es el Dashboard. Lamentablemente, debido a esta adición, mis usuarios no pueden cambiar su contraseña debido a que el enlace a Preferencias (donde actualmente se ha ubicado el cambio de contraseña) solo puede accederse por un menú desplegable que aparece en un menú desplegable ubicado en el extremo superior derecho al lado del nombre de usuario. Este menú solo aparece en el tema por defecto (Clean) pero aparentemente no se ha adaptado en otros temas.

    ¿Podrías adaptar el menú desplegable a tu fantástico tema por favor?

    Saludos

    Hi Daniel, we love the Archaius theme and are planning on using it at our school this fall. We are having one minor issue, however, that I was hoping you could help us out with.

    We are using the 2.8.6 version of Moodle with an email block called Quickmail. On the Quickmail screen, the toolbar for the email message and the area to upload an attachment to the email do no appear. In other themes - for example Clean - they do appear.

    I believe the problem is in /layout/general.php but I can't seem to figure out the specific element within that code.

    Could you point me in the right direction?

    Below is a link to a screenshot:

    Many thanks!
