Board

The Board module for Moodle is a plugin that enables a post-it board activity for students. This is a collaborative activity where the teachers sets out a number of columns with optional names and then students add contributions to a column. Students do not see who has posted what.

Tiles format

A course format which displays course topics as "Tiles", in a grid rather than as a list. When clicked, tile content is displayed under the tile with an animated transition. The layout adapts to different screen sizes and orientations. Within each tile, activities can also be set to display as "sub-tiles". For each tile, the teacher can pick an icon from a predefined set, or upload a background photo.

Moodle Proctoring

Moodle proctoring is a quizaccess plugin to capture the user's picture via webcam to identify who is attempting the Moodle Quiz. It will capture the picture automatically every 30 seconds and store it as a PNG image. It also captures the screenshot during the quiz to verify that the student didn't attempt unusual activities during the exam.

Opencast Video Provider

This activity can be used to display and view Opencast episodes and series in Moodle. Users with respective privileges (in the following called teacher) can specify the ID of an existing Opencast episode/series to add it to their course. An embedded player allows students to watch the videos directly in Moodle. As with every activity, the teachers can restrict the access to the videos for students based on e.g. dates, grades or user profiles.
