This is a great plugin, that simplifies Section to Section Navigation.
It creates a menu block. This can have titles for groups of sections, arbitrary links and some choice for other items like participants lists.
Unfortunately the developers do not update the GIT branches, and so while it says current for 2.3, it does work with 2.8.
