Hi, our 2.4.5+ installation prompted us to download and install this update, but it no longer works. With debugging turned up to full 'developer' mode, I still only get 'Server Error' in Chrome - no moodle call trace at all. Is it possible to ensure the 2.5 related changes only prompt 2.5 installations to upgrade?

@Michael, read the three comments immediately above yours. (This was found and fixed yesterday. I'm sorry I screwed up. You need to go back to the previous version.)

We love the report. Are there plans to be able to "VIEW ALL" using the activity type drop down menu so that instructors can see their entire semester of activities? We have had several requests for this feature. Thanks.

For very large courses, the disabledIf conditions between the settings get very, very slow for large courses, so there is a limit. If you like experiment with editing REPORT_EDITDATES_ENABLE_FILTER_THRESHOLD at the top of index.php. You may find a bitter setting is safe. (If so, we might increase this setting for everyone.)

Thanks to prompting from Charles Fulton and Kevin Wiliarty, I have uploaded a version of the v2.1 release that should be compatible with Moodle 2.2 - 2.4. That goes with the 2.5-compabilt version that was already there.

Thanks, Tim! What a great tool. Works as advertised! Was a lot faster than opening 80+ tabs.

From a lowly user, here's a suggestion -- list the Activities (still grouped by Sections) with a checkbox beside each Section and each Activity (ala the Import page), and then put the settings ONCE up top. The idea would be you would modify the settings you want, and then check all of the Activities you would want those settings to apply to, then click "Save." I think this would be significantly faster for the user in some cases.

The case where it would not be faster (that I can think of) would be if you are changing many activities so that EACH activity has a separate date or time. But if there is any grouping what-so-ever (say, half of the activities per section have the same date and time), I think you would see significant speed.

But beggars can't be choosers, eh!

As a side note, I proposed in some forum post somewhere the idea of "Templates" for Activities, so that you could go to a page and modify all of the settings for, say, some or all of the Quizzes in your class. This would look very much like what you've already created with my above suggestion for how to apply the changes to many Activities at once. I can see how that would become very, very complex, and the only reason I'm mentioning it is because this seems to be along those lines.

    Thanks again!

    Hi Tim

Any plans to make a 2.7 version?

Yes. The OU will need a 2.7 version around the start of September.

This is non-trivial task, because of the changes in conditional availability in Moodle 2.7.

I am probably not going to have a change to think about this before September. If anyone else wants to try, I am happy to receive pull requests on github.

It might be possible to do an initial version for 2.7 that ignores conditional availability dates.

Any plans on having Turnitin assignments start date, due date, and post date to be included in the activity type for the dates plugin?

I have not plans. If someone else writes the code, and does a github pull request, I will review and integrate it.

Hello Tim, Any thoughts of bringing this plugin up to 2.7.2? It was working but with the change from 2.7.1 to 2.7.2 it seems to error out on the quizzes. Thanks!

What change between 2.7.1 to 2.7.2?

We have a version that we think works with 2.7.2. I will make sure we have put the latest version here, hopefully in the next few days.

Not sure what changed but when I did the version update the quizzes stopped working. I have a tracker issue open on the error I am getting. Tracker: CONTRIB-5361
