A quiz 'report' add-on for Moodle, like the nomal manual grading report, but which lets you grade one student at a time, rather than one question at a time.

This 'report' is actually a tool like the standard Manual grading quiz report, but which lets you grade all the responses by one student, rather than all the responses to one question.

Once the plugin is installed, you can access the functionality by going to 'Reports' -> 'Manual grading by student' in the Quiz administration block.

To avoid confusion, you may wish to use Moodle's http://docs.moodle.org/en/Language_customization to rename the standard 'Manual grading' report to 'Manual grading by question'. The string you are looking for is in the 'quiz_grading.php' component. You need to edit the 'grading' string.

    Tim, I'm really looking forward to seeing an updated version of this addon. Is there any chance we will see one for 2.7 in the next few weeks?

    My guess would be that this just works in Moodle 2.8, but I have not tried it. In fact, you remind me that I have not yet uploaded the 2.7-compatible version.

    It would be helpful if you could test this in Moodle 2.8 and report back. (My guess would be that it works with no changes.)

If I install this can I readily be able switch from to-grade-by-question to to-grade-by-student and back andforth depending on the quiz or situation.

    Yes, you can consider them as 2 different reports and you can use them depending on your preferences.

    in moodle 2.7 is there a way to see the students names so instructor knows which student's questions they are grading?

    Thank you and so far I have not been able to get student names to show, I am using version 1.2 since I am using moodle2.7.x

    We have it installed on 2.8 and works fine except like Beth the student names do not appear on a personal identifier (not sure where this number comes from) This means that we do not know who we are marking. Even when we open it for a student we do not get the student name it just says personal identifier. Is this a bug can we have the student name instead of this person identifier?
