    Hi Gordon!
I have a few questions regarding this plugin.
Does this question type supports import & export of questions with images in question body & answers in Moodle XML format?
Does it supports input on handheld devices with touch-screen (like smartphones)?

Hi Dan, this question type doesn't support images yet (as afar as I know!) but I can confirm that it works on touch-screen devices. No problem there smile

Thank you for your swift reply, Gordon!
I've also found that one can insert raw HTML into answer fields, so it's actually possible to link an image in an answer.
Too bad about import/export of images though. Looking forward to this feature in future versions! smile

Hi! Are there any known issues with Moodle 2.8.3+? I installed this question type but I can't drag'n'drop the items in correct order...

I'm in 2.7 and the drag items aren't working for me, either.

Is mod_reader required for this qtype to function? I do not have that installed.

mod_reader is not needed for qtype_ordering. I have used that question type successfully with a normal quiz.

Hi, I found this plugin very useful. But I have a question that did not mentioned anywhere.
Does this question type support patterns.
for example if we make a question with correct answer as: "A, B, C, D, E, F" and one order it as: "F, A, B, C, D, E", in real world we may give him/her some grades.
Does this plugin support this type of grading? If not, will it?

This plugin stopped working for us this past week, as some of you seem to have noted in previous posts.

The problem was in the jquery version number in the heading, which can be controlled here:

Site Admin > Appearance > Additional HTML

Paste the jquery version script in the HEAD box, paste:

Sorry if pasting a line of code breaks any rules...just trying to help.

    We found that version 1.10.3 worked...1.9 and 1.11 didn't.

Question about this - I had a student taking a quiz with this on it and while she was taking it two of her options just disappeared. It was like there were only 3 options in that question box, although there were 5 options initially. I had her put the others in order, but when it was graded it was counted as wrong. The other options were gone, even from her results. Anyone else dealing with this issue or have an idea what it could be?

Hello! I have a problem. Since the last update of the plugin, multiple tires are not working properly. I had a question that had multiple tries enabled and hints added to it. But now, all the content from the hints is gone and I get plugins' feedback when I answer the question wrong. Also, there is no "Try again" button. How can I get it to work like it used to?

I really like the ordering question type. We are using it in Moodle system in our higher education institution. Our institution use Moodle 3.1 and Moodle mobile 3.1.1. In the Moodle mobile 3.1, quizzes are integrated with the mobile app. However, the question type is not integrated with Moodle mobile app. When clicking into a quiz with the question type, it appears a warning message, "This quiz cannot be attempted in teh app because it has access rules not supported by the app: quizaccess_ordering".

The developer of “gapfill" question type asked about this issue in the Moodle forum. The official Moodle mobile developer has replied the forum. Generally, some development need to be done in the question type plugin side. He also provides detailed guide in the reply:

I really hope you can integrated the ordering question type with Moodle mobile. It will also benefit a lot for other users.
