Hi, interesting idea - it is certainly possible, but I have no plans to implement it soon. If you wish to continue this discussion, please do so over on github.com: https://github.com/gbateson/moodle-qtype_ordering/issues

    Hi Tobias
If you set this up as a multiple choice question instead, it might be clearer to students that multiple correct answers are possible.

Hi, any reason that the latest version skipped MDL-3.3?

I have discovered that this plugin is creating a javascript error once the moodle core is updated to v3.8+ (published on 12/5/2019). With the plugin installed it prevents certain types of navigation in the site while using the boost theme. I uninstalled every plugin I had on the site (of a test copy of my production site) one by one, purged all caches, until I found the culprit and for me it was qtype_ordering. Once I uninstalled this plugin the site navigation worked as designed.

The specifics of navigation problems are as follows: the tabs for the administration page where unresponsive and also the upper right profile navigation didn't work until this plugin was uninstalled

    Hello Gordon,
You may want to update the "More documentation on this plugin" link under "Useful links" on this page.

    Hello Gordon.
The ordering dragging is not functioning on mobile when accessing it from the browser. I cannot drag using my finger.

We were getting some fairly disruptive Javascript errors after adding this plugin. They were affecting various things, but the most problematic was assignment grading (there were freezes and other issues after clicking "Save and Show Next" on the first student's assignment). See https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=410954 for more details. This is probably similar to the Boost theme issue mentioned above.

The specific console error was: DevTools failed to load SourceMap: Could not parse content for drag_reorder.min.js.map: Unexpected token d in JSON at position 0

Not, from the forum thread, Matt Long is using 3.5. I guess JS minified in more recent Moodle versions does not work in such an old Moodle version.

To follow up on this, the error we had with assignment grading now appears to be specific to Chromium-based browsers and is completely unrelated to this plugin (i.e., we still have the error after removing the plugin and clearing Moodle's cache). I had tested with Chrome before removing the plugin and was using Firefox without realizing it afterward, and that ended up being the critical factor in why the grading suddenly started working correctly. I apologize for the mistake on my part.

I just want to note: we are using this question type with Moodle 3.9 and it works fine. Gordon, I think it would be safe to update the list of compatible versions.

(I have not tested yet with 3.10 myself, but I expect that also works.)

Hi Gordon, if you use formulas in a combined feedback of question type ordering, they are displayed incorrectly
