This Moodle module (/mod/ipal/) allows Moodle to support in-class polling/"clickers"/"Peer Instruction"/concept quizzes/anonymous surveys/etc.
Students can respond using any web-enabled device or the free IPAL App we have written for both the Android and iOS smartphones.
Teachers can create questions, use questions from the standard question bank, or import ConcepTest provided by Harvard Physics Professor Mazur.

This version of IPAL (2015030401) is compatible with Moodle 2.8.x. It will not run in Moodle 2.6. The directory ipal should be placed in the moodle mod folder. It supports in-class polling when students use web-enabled devices and/or smart phones with free Apps. There is a polling App for the iPhone (the IOS version) and an App for Android devices.

Default installation instructions for plugins of the type Activities
- Make sure you have all the required versions.
- Download and unpack the module.
- Place the folder (eg "assignment") in the "mod" subdirectory.
- Visit http://yoursite.com/admin to finish the installation
