The Data Privacy Plugin Tool for Moodle

Note: Moodle 3.5 ships with tool_dataprivacy by default. So if you're installing or upgrading to Moodle 3.5, you don't need to install this plugin.

What's new?

Various fixes in-sync with the release of the tool's Moodle 3.5.1 version

UI and Usability fixes:

  1. MDL-62211 - Data request pagination and filtering
  2. MDL-62597 - Include time in the request date
  3. MDL-62391 - Show the requesting user's information in the request details and data requests table.

Bug fixes:

  1. MDL-62544 - Let privacy officer create data requests if the "Contact the privacy officer" setting is turned off
  2. MDL-62460 - Fix the display of the selected user when data request creation for others fails validation
  3. MDL-62270 - Use the configured admin directory setting to prevent CRON task failures for renamed admin directories

Other fixes:

Default installation instructions for plugins of the type Administration tool

  1. Make sure you have all the required versions.
  2. Download and unpack the module.
  3. Place the folder (eg "mytool") in the "admin/tool" subdirectory.
  4. Visit http://yoursite.com/admin to finish the installation
