There is now 2 different version of the Formulas question type. This version is for Moodle recent versions starting from Moodle 3.0 and up to 3.4. It has been tested with Moodle 3.4 and PHP 7.2. This version add compatibility with PHP 7.2 and should be used with PHP versions from 7.0 to 7.2. It has not been tested with PHP versions prior to 7.0. If you are running older PHP versions there is another version of the Formulas question type available that is compatible with PHP 5.6 and Moddle versions from 2.6 to 2.9.x. This version also include the fix to the bug affecting the display of feedbacks (image and color) for the different parts of the question when used with adaptive behaviour.

Default installation instructions for plugins of the type Question types

  1. Make sure you have all the required versions.
  2. Download and unpack the module.
  3. Place the folder (eg "myquestiontype") in the "question/type" subdirectory.
  4. Visit http://yoursite.com/admin to finish the installation
