Hi Dan and others, I am prodded to upgrade to the plugin version 3.2.3 our site being Moodle 3.0. However, I wonder if that plugin version will work with PHP 5.4.16, since supported software lists PHP 5.6.

    Hi Paul,

it should work but I don't do any testing on PHP 5.4 myself. I have just added PHP 5.4 and 5.5 to the automated travis-ci checks on the urkund repo (I had previously removed them to speed up the tests) Let me know if you have any issues though. You can see the results of the travis tests here:

Hi - a usability question: Is it just the teacher with the reciever adress who is able to see the urkundreports or do all teachers who have access to the course have the ability to see the urkundreports? thanks in advance/Simon

By default all teachers can view reports but you can control this using Moodle capabilities and customise Moodle roles to allow/prevent access if required.

Hi Dan, we are thinking to add urkund support to the folder activity. In our case the students can upload files to the folder activity. What do you think about that? Are there any API to do that. Greetings

Hi Dario, that sounds interesting. I presume you are doing this because you want all students in the course to see the files that have been uploaded. The plagiarism API in Moodle does not provide the ability for you to send the files uploaded using the folder activity. You could potentially use the forum activity to achieve a similar goal by getting your students to upload the files as attachements to forum posts and enable urkund within the forum activity but it would not provide the same sort of display you get from the folder activity.

We could probably do some custom development for you that might suit your needs a bit better - contact me privately if you are interested and i can put together some estimates.

    Hiya,
I have recently taken on the Moodle Admin role unexpectedly and still learning. A teacher has asked me this:

What happens with assessments that can't be URKUNDED because of their format?

Would anyone be able to shed light on this?

@Maya - that's a question best sent through to your Urkund support contact. It depends what you mean by "format" - Moodle won't send files to urkund that are not supported by their API so you won't get a report for these files.

@Camilo, I'm not completely clear what you're asking, but the location of install on disk does not change, you still install into the directory named 'urkund' in the plagiarism directory in moodle.

@Dan., I understand. I got confused because I have installed urkund 2 years ago in Moodle, so I thought we had to make changes in the installation (for the new name "Ouriginal")

    Hi Dan,

Ouriginal won't enable itself as I type in the given integration adress to your server in the admin settings. Do I have to put in another one than https: //secure.urkund.com?

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Greetings from Germany,
    Tom

@Tom - best to reach out to ouriginal via your contact with them - they should be able to help you with this. They do have a few different API urls but they should supply those details along with your account id/passwords.
