Eric - Many thanks for sharing this plugin with the Moodle community. I was able to install the plugin fine but not really able to do much testing without a WebEx account. I sent you a Moodle message about this.

The recommended name of the Git repository is moodle-mod_webexactivity. Would you be willing to consider renaming it? It is not a major issue but if we all follow the suggested naming convention that helps provide consistency for folks maintaining their sites with Git.

I am curious if you have seen https://moodle.org/plugins/view.php?plugin=mod_webex

From what I can tell, your plugin connects not only to the training center but also meeting rooms and can manage those events through Moodle. Do you think your version makes the other obsolete? When there are related projects I try to encourage folks to work together so I will contact the maintainer of the other project to see what their thoughts are as well. What I try to avoid is having to similar projects that might cause confusion in the community.

Eventually, although we are not yet ready for it, you will want to replace the $module variable with $plugin. This is related to MDLSITE-2834 and I am starting to give folks a heads up about that issue as we move forward.

If you have some time, a screenshot would be nice but obviously not required.

Do you have a preference for a tracker (Github's issues or Moodle Tracker)?

    Peace - Anthony

Question for Anthony Barrow, who added a comment on March 6 at 10:24 AM: What do you mean by Moodle Tracker component? Does this component enable the WebEx plugin to send attendance tracking information to Moodle?

    John -
That was just in relation to the setup the area in the Moodle bug tracker for this module. It has nothing to do with the operation of the WebEx plugin.

    Hi Eric,

Any reason why this plugin won't work on 2.5?

This plugin will not work with self hosted WebEx, it is only designed for Cisco hosted sites.

This plugin will only work with Moodle 2.6 and above - it uses features from Moodle that are not in 2.5.

Also, please contact me for support questions are merrill@oakland.edu or open a ticket at https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/CONTRIB/component/13130

If yes, how can I do so?
