The Leganto reading list module enables a teacher to include a customised selection of citations from associated ExLibris Leganto reading lists directly within the content of their course.

The teacher is able to cherry-pick as many or as few citations from a list of all Leganto reading lists associated with the course, to compile a custom reading list which can be displayed either in a separate, linked page, or actually embedded in the course page itself (collapsed initially, with a link to toggle visibility). Multiple module instances can be created within a particular Moodle course (e.g. one per week or topic section) to reflect the structure of the course. Each citation included in the custom list links out to the more detailed citation record in Leganto itself, displayed in a pop-up window. In the case of online resources a direct link out to the actual resource is also included.

Please note that this integration plugin depends on a paid subscription to the ExLibris Leganto reading lists service. The module is designed to complement ExLibris's own provided LTI integration for institutions whose teachers may require a more deeply Moodle-embedded solution.
