    Why does the view all journals view include non-enrolled users? It shows everyone who has high level access, but is not enrolled, with "No entry." This has some instructors worried that there are "lurkers" in the courses.

    It has now been 11 months since you last made any changes to this plugin - it still does not support 3.5 and is missing the privacy API. You stated in May 2018 that you would look at the privacy api within the next few days but you haven't provided any further updates to reported issues in github. If you are not able to support this plugin please pass it back to the community so someone else can do it properly.

    Because the maintainers appear to be "on vacation" I started to look for a substitute and stumbled across some of the really old postings from the days that Journal was being replaced by Online Assignments. One thing mentioned, in a few posts, was seeing something similar to the Journals "overview" page on OAs. It was mentioned that OA would have a "quick view" to accomplish this, but it was never detailed. From what I can see there is no Quick View in OA. Is there??

    Adrian, do you know what code to change to get the list of entries to include only the students of a course and not the Teacher, Manager and site managers as it currently does? I'm willing to go an change code on my own, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to know what needs to change. I've even looked at other plugins that show only students on a review page and I cannot figure it out. I've submitted a bug tracker, but it's not getting any attention. https://github.com/elearningsoftware/moodle-mod_journal/issues/33

    I have figured out a Bandaide solution to this: change the mod/journal:addentries access so that only the student role is set to "allow."

    The version numbers indicated are not consistent with what appears in the source code repository. I cannot find Build 35, nor does it appear in the GitHub repository. The file available via the direct download is also build 34, not build 35. Could this be fixed?

    I love the journal activity - its simplicity and ease of use being its main attraction. I am using the Journal activity on one project where I want to 'lock' the users responses - I want them to still see their entries, but not be able to edit them (or start a new one). I don't seem to be able to do this though, either by changing the settings or the permissions. Is there a way that this could be done? Thanks in advance.

    Hello Sir,

    I am in the process of upgrading to moodle 3.7+ and I would like to ask
    if there will be an upgrade of this excellent plugin for moodle 3.7+, or can I simply use the 3.6 version? Thank you very much.

    Hi Filippos, I am using the 3.6 version in Moodle 3.7. The only problem I see, is that if a user records a video, In their view it shows as center aligned. When the teacher sees it in the report view it is right aligned. Depending upon the theme used, some of the video may be hidden on the right side.

    Hmm, ok! Thank you very much for your reply!

    Hi Filippos, Just discovered a fix for the video alignment problem. Add the following to the end of your styles.css file for Journal.
    #page-mod-journal-report .mediaplugin {
    width: 100% !important;
    }
    To see it in operation, you will need to purge your cache, or put your Moodle into theme designer mode and reload your Journal report.php page.
