One of the great benefits with using H5P is that it gives you access to lots of different interactive content types.

Another great benefit with H5P is that it allows you to easily share and reuse content. To reuse content, you just download the H5P you would like to edit and make your changes – e.g. translate to a new language or adjust it to a new situation.

H5P is:

  • Open Source
  • Free to Use
  • HTML5
  • Responsive

Note that it is currently possible for people with programming skills to cheat in H5P interactions and obtain the full score without knowing the correct answers. H5Ps must not be used for exams or similar.

The H5P community is actively contributing to improve H5P. Updates and new features are continuously made available on the community portal H5P.org.

Hi Eduardo, thanks for the bug report, this seems to be an issue only affecting some databases. I have created an issue for it at: https://h5ptechnology.atlassian.net/browse/HFP-854 . If you have any further questions please take them to the H5P.org forum where it is easier to follow them up than in this comment field. Thanks smile

Kudos for the impressive amount of work that went into this plugin! It is a very useful module. However, from a Moodle POV it would be even handier if it could (also) work as an HTML editor plugin, so that all activities could be embedded in pages, books, lessons, etc. Stand-alone activities have their limitations.
    Greetings from Finland.

Hi Paul, thanks for the positive feedback! smile

And good suggestion about the editor plugin!

Here is a pro tip: If you create a feature request on the H5P forum (https://h5p.org/forum/16), it is more likely that the core team remember it when planning releases. Also, sometimes the community picks up on features and develops them.

    Greetings back from Norway,

    Hi Ana,
Go to the H5P forum (https://h5p.org/forum/16) and explain the details of what does not work and maybe the community can help.

I'm sorry to hear this. What error did you get from that line? Could you check what your values for post_max_size and upload_max_filesize is in PHP.ini? I looked at that line and it seems we might struggle if the values provided(or not provided) is on a less common form. Please report back.

    Hi All,
I have the same warning in my Moodle (version 3.2.2+) and version 7.1.2 oh php. This is the warning recieved
Notice: A non well formed numeric value encountered in /data/www/moodle/mod/hvp/library/h5p.classes.php on line 2983

This warning can be resolved if I rewrite the line 2981, 2983 and 2985 as:
    $val = (int) $val * 1024;

I think this is a php 7.1 issu. See here: https://wiki.php.net/rfc/invalid_strings_in_arithmetic

Hi! In Moodle 3.2.2 using Boost (or Boost based themes) the editor doesn't render in width: 100%. Instead, it only shows 25-33 % of the assigned area, making it virtually impossible to properly use the editor.

is there any way to solve this?
