@Paul - No, Moodle 2.7 is not a supported version. The plugin was originally written for Moodle 2.8. Do you have any plans to upgrade to a more recent version?

@MD - no Moodle 2.7 support ? Bad news. We have to stay with LTS (long term supported) Moodle, still 2.7... Yes - we have plans to upgrade to the latest LTS v3., after some important plugins (including this one) do reach 3.1 support level. Any moodlerooms 3.1 release date in sight ?

@Meinrad - The plugin is still under development and testing for 3.1, but is available now using the master branch in the "Source control URL" link from this page. We anticipate the plugin will complete testing and added as a new release to the Moodle Plug-ins Database later this month.

Are there plans to add group (and groupings) support to this plugin so that people can create group sessions similar to how the Collaborate Original plugin works? There's a 'separate groups' option, but it doesn't appear to do anything–two students who are in different groups still enter the same Collaborate session and can see each other. Thanks.

When will the Collaborate Ultra plugin be updated to include the new API that supports features such as chat messages in the recording? What is the timeline or roadmap for future releases this year? Thanks for any input!

When creating a Collaborate Ultra session using this plugin, I'm finding that the default permissions for participants are for all permissions to be disabled (share audio, share video, post chat messages, and draw on whiteboard and files). This means that the moderator has to manually enable the permissions at the beginning of every session (and know that they need to do this, which is the problem). Running Collaborate Ultra without the plugin or running Collaborate Original with or without the Moodle plugin results in the participant permissions all being enabled by default. Other tools such as Adobe Connect, Zoom, etc., also enable participant permissions by default. Is what we're experiencing with the Collaborate Ultra plugin how it's intended to work?
    Thanks

When I try and schedule a session for the duration of the course the end date is December 1969. I went into the course settings and gave the course an end date of October 2018 and is still showing 1969 as the end date. Has anyone else experienced this problem.

@Vincent - I've seen that issue before and it happens with 32bit PHP installations. The Collaborate Module requires 64bit PHP for the sentinel date value we use for 'duration of course'

Is it possible to name the recording instance based on date when it was made?
Anytime a recording is displayed it defaults to "Recording 1", can this be changed? Even while hard coding it? Or does it fetch the recordingID straight from blackboard?

I hope this question makes sense...

    Thanks.
