Certificate
Activities ::: mod_certificate
Maintained by Mark Nelson
This module allows for the dynamic generation of certificates based on predefined conditions set by the teacher.
NOTE: This plugin is no longer receiving any new features. Only bug fixes are being applied. I have been working on a new plugin which can be located at https://moodle.org/plugins/mod_customcert which allows complete customisation of the PDF via the browser, whereas this plugin requires FTP and PHP knowledge. Both plugins can be installed on a site at once with no issues.

I have upgraded my moodle to 2.6 and installed the latest version of certificate and now my certificates are blank? Any ideas please? Thanks.
We too have the same problem....although it seems to only affect Chrome. Works fine in IE and Safari. Can't find a solution yet.

"Hey guys,
Sorry about my absence on these forums recently.
I have moved overseas and have gone from working full-time at HQ, to only part-time. At HQ we were fortunate enough to have a week every so often where we were free to work on our own Moodle related projects, the 'Custom certificate' activity being mine. However, since I am now only contracting I do not have this luxury which is the reason this project has not been updated in a while.
The foundation is there but it still has a lot of work to be done. However, I am not sure when it will be continued. Perhaps someone would want to take the reins?
Regards,
Mark"
As we all know, life moves on. Does anyone have any recent news for Certificate? I'm wondering about 2.7

add_to_log() has been deprecated, please rewrite your code to the new events API
line 48 of \lib\deprecatedlib.php: call to debugging()
line 127 of \mod\certificate\view.php: call to add_to_log()
try this:

We have an issue that allows people to print the certificate for a course without course completion. Is there some sort of lock available to prevent this?
Thanks
I am the admin of moodle. I want to download all issued certificates for printing purpose.
Please tell me someone how can I do it. There is option available in moodle to download report in XLS, text and ODS format. I want to download all in PDF format (with Design).
are there any plans to add Moodle 2.8 support to this plugin? Or is it fully compatible and just the compatibility info has not been upgraded yet?
Do you know how to include start and end date in a 2.7 certificate?
Thanks in advance!!
How can we generate certificate if course format is Scorm?
