Overview

This is a clone of the Moodle weekly course format except the weeks are listed in reverse order.

Settings

  • Settings from standard weekly format
  • Hide future weeks (yes/no - default: yes): allow to hide all future weeks from the student view so that the current week is shown at the top of the list. When enable it will completely override the course setting "Hidden sections" for future weeks. As a teacher you can see future weeks and should leave them unhidden so that they do become visible when that week arrives.

Installation

Install the plugin, like any other plugin.
See http://docs.moodle.org/en/Installing_plugins for details on installing Moodle plugins.

    When I install this plug-in I get the following error:

    Debug info: Plugin installed in wrong folder.
    Stack trace:

    line 298 of /lib/upgradelib.php: plugin_defective_exception thrown
    line 1437 of /lib/upgradelib.php: call to upgrade_plugins()
    line 269 of /admin/index.php: call to upgrade_noncore()

    Any suggestions on how to fix?

    In the config file, change the line that says "$plugin->component = 'format_weeks';" to "$plugin->component = 'format_weeksrev';"

    Which config file? The config fire in Weeksrev directory does not have that link in it.

    @Tawanna L: I didn't see the the line of code you were talking about?

    It's actually in version.php, not config.php, like I thought at first.

    Sorry to all those that tried this and found a mistake in (or missing) version.php file. This has now been fixed. Noticed section titles after drag and drop are not re-sorting correctly so will fix that in next update.
