A modular and visual course format. Hides all topics and creates a grid of icons (one for each topic) with short titles. Clicking on an icon brings up the content from the corresponding topic in a "lightbox" style display.

Support:

The format comes with NO support.  Please see the 'Support' section in 'Readme.md' file that comes with the format.  This is because the format is complex and I regret that I don't have the time / resources to freely assist with questions pertaining to specific enhancements / changes / knowledge improvement.

I will investigate genuine bugs and issue fixes in a timescale set by myself.  When reporting issues you MUST clearly state the full version and release of both Moodle and the Grid format format as contained within their 'version.php' files - if not it takes me longer to figure out, often resulting in me asking for the details anyway and slowing the process of solving your problem down.  It really helps to upload and describe in detail the issue you are having on the 'Course formats' forum.

Privacy API support starts with V3.3.0.5 for M3.3 and V3.4.0.4 for M3.4 where the API has been implemented in the minor release of Moodle.

    Hi, Gareth!
    I can not change the Grid image. When I click on "Change Image" the page (image change) is empty.
    I use adaptable theme in Moodle 3.2.
    If I change to boost theme, then I can upload the image.
    Any solution?

    This is / was a problem with the Adaptable theme. Please ask for support from Fernando Adeco or Jez H: https://moodle.org/plugins/theme_adaptable

    How can i configure each container so that they are centered relative to the page. I'm using 3.2+ Right now they seem to be justified left (4 containers - three on the top row and 1 on its own row, justified left.). I'd like to move center all of them, or have 2 rows of 2 containers. In the edit settings I didn't see that option. Thanks!

    The Grid format comes with no support. Please read the Readme.md file for details.

    En formato de curso rejilla en algunas versiones permite ver los iconos de la rejilla en forma de circulo y en otros en cuadrados. Mi inquietud es como puedo modificar la rejilla de círculos a cuadros o de cuadros a círculos?

    We are using Moodle 3.3.1 (Build: 20170710) with the Fordson theme v1.5.7 (Build: 2017082300) and we just added grid format 3.3.0.1 (build:2017071700). We used grid format previously and really liked it. We have run into an issue now which may cause us to remove the grid format. The Grid format chnages the layout as it should, however, after installing the Grid format the items in the Nav bar , Participants, grades, badges and competencies , all open topic 7 in the course unless I have "Turned Editing ON". It does not matter which course you are in, if there are 7 or more topics, topic 7 will open. If there are 6 or less topics, everything works fine. Any ideas??
