  I just noticed that the SC menu option is missing from all of my *sections* containing any resources and activities and instead appears at the bottom of the edit menu for the first resource or activity. In empty sections, it appears where expected - on the menu for the section. I'm using version 3.6, release 1 2019012000, in Moodle 3.6.6. I've also noticed that this issue occurs only with the Collapsed Topics format, so I will be posting the issue under that plugin. However, if I can, I'd like to include a clue for Gareth as to what might be the issue. Don, do you have any idea that I might be able to share with Gareth?

Could I ask you to post the issue in the github bug-reporting for SC here: https://github.com/donhinkelman/moodle-block_sharing_cart Then could I kindly ask any programmer who would have time to fix this, to post the fixed code as a pull request at the same location. I will merge that request right away. Much obliged!

  Hi,
  just to understand the use of this Plugin: is it possible to share the activities with collegues? Or is it just to move an activities von from course to another?

  Hi Birgit,
  If the teacher has a role with an editing permission in your course course, he can copy the activity to his/her course, so in a way that's sharing the activity with other colleagues. The problem is of course that you have to share the entire course with them, and that's too much for some people.
  
  I'm not aware of a way to share a specific activity with everyone, besides a creating a new course that is dedicated entirely for sharing with colleagues. But I wouldn't be surprised if there's a plugin that does what you want it. If you'll find one, please share.

  Hi Don,
  
  Just updated to moodle 3.8 and sharing cart is not working. More exactly, every time we turn edition on, all edition button freezes. Then, if we purge all caches and return to course, that's ok. But if in sequence we turn edition off and on again, the freezing problem returns.

  Hi Osvaldo, Thank you for testing the Sharing Cart in Moodle 3.8. I assume the Sharing Cart was working OK before in Moodle 3.7. Please go to github here: https://github.com/donhinkelman/moodle-block_sharing_cart/issues/31 to report this issue and explain the theme that you are using and any more details so that we may reproduce this issue.

We installed the master-version on our Moodle 3.5 installation and recognized some graphical issues: The shopping basked icon appears for course sections, but not for activities. Is there some incompability reguarding the versions (is there a Plugin Version for Moodle 3.5 available)?
  
  Another question concerns the capabilities used for this plugin: We'd appriciate the possibility to give users the capabilities to copy content of a foreign course into sharing cart and use it in their own courses (after the Trainer inserted the shring cart block in course). Therefore, the user needs the following capabilities - as far as we found out: moodle/backup:backupactivity, moodle/backup:configure and moodle/course:update. Could you provide some more information, where exactly and why these capabilities are used?

  When i try to copi a single antivity it works very well, but when i try to copy a setion a error text box appears saying:

  Thank you for reporting an issue, which I assume just happened when you installed the new Sharing Cart 3.8, which was released a few hours ago. There are recent changes in Moodle, so that Sharing Cart 3.8 probably works best in Moodle 3.6, 3.7 and 3.8, as noted by the download button. Since your Moodle is 3.5, I wonder if it is possible to return your earlier version of the Sharing Cart? If not, I would suggest you report this as an issue on github. All development and issue reporting happens there. Here is the link to the github location for Sharing Cart: https://github.com/donhinkelman/moodle-block_sharing_cart Click on the menu item, "Issues", then click on the green button, "New Issue", and post as many details as possible, such as: 1) your version of Moodle, 2) your version of Sharing Cart, 3) your theme (its version number), 4) your browser (its version number) and 5) what you expected to happen, and 6) what happened that you didn't expect (with screen shot). If you get an error message, take a screen shot of that, and post it too. It may seem troublesome to make another account outside of Moodle, but most plugins are doing development this way, and it really helps get attention to your problem. Thanks!

  **New: Report received 17 March 2020 that the Sharing Cart 3.8, release 1 has a bug in the drop down menu--"Copy to Sharing Cart" does not appear. Please wait for Sharing Cart 3.8, release 2 to fix this bug.**

  Sharing Cart 3.8, release 3 fixes a bug in the section copy feature, where some items are skipped or copied twice.

  Friends, We have this message anytime we try to copy the activity already in sharing cart. it copies from the original place, but when to place it the new point it gives us this - Exception - Call to a member function get_tasks on nul ()

  hi everyone! this plugin is perfect for what im attempting, but i cannot seem to get it to work properly.
  -installed, added the block to 2 courses
  -went into course B and copied entire topic to the 'sharing cart', i see it there in the sharing cart
  -goto course A, and in the sharing cart, next to the unit/topic i copied i click on 'copy to course', i see the [arrow] box pop up as to where to copy to, i click the arrow in the new topic i created, it does it, but then there is nothing there when done a few seconds later?
  when i click on the unit in the sharing cart, i see all the items beloew, and i tied copying one of those items and it worked, it was in the new topic, but when i tried to just do the copy to course the entire topic , it didnt work
  thanks for the assistance.
