    Anthony, would you please delete this entry: https://moodle.org/plugins/view.php?plugin=block_moodle_notifications

    It is the old entry and it is not needed anymore.

    Thank you.

    Hi Alvaro,

    Thank you very much for your contribution. I initially have provided the support for the Italian language but was told that the lang files should be uploaded directly in moodle.org in order to be distributed as language packs.

    Can you please add the functionality to notify the Admin/Teacher upon completion of an Activity/Course. I do not know how this escaped the Moodle developers nor the Module developer community, but somehow it seems to only be important to me, I guess.

    Hi there!
    Quick question - will this work on a moodle 2.4.x installation?
    Thx a lot!

    hello,
    Your block is very useful. But unfortunately it disrupts the way in which it is installed.
    Are you considering an upgrade to Moodle 2.7?
    thank you
    Daniel

    Hi Goran,
    I installed Notifications plugin to my moodle(2.7+), But i can't find Notifications block to add it. Thanks.

    I have tested the installation on Moodle 2.7.2+ (Build: 20141104) and there were no problems.
    Daniel Mèthod: The plugin is compatible with Moodle 2.7. Please provide more info. It is hard to understand what goes wrong on your system with so little information.

    Bui Ngoc Long: The block is called Notifications. The block name is probaly different in your case because you are probably using a different language. To be sure that the block is in the list of available blocks in your course switch to English and you should read Notifications in the Add blocks list.

    Hi,

    We installed the plugin in our Moodle 2.8.6 installation. Unfortunately, the plugins never sends e-mails to the participants of a course. We ran the cron manually to make sure it wasn't that. The readme.txt dosen't quite help at this point. Is there anyone else having this issue except Irith Herman?

    Thanks,

    Mel

    Note for the docs: Changes made by administrators do not result in notifications.
    You can change this in classes/Course.php::populate_logs() by commenting out these lines:
    if($this->is_admin($log->get_data()['userid'])) {
    continue;
    }

    Hello dear all,
    Can any one please tell me that how could i install this plugin step by step because its confusing that from where should i start this. Because i am working on moodle for a university and i just want that all the notification should be delivered to the students through email that when a teacher create a assignment , edit it, share some contents about any topic or any module. I have configured the SMTP for the email notification but that is not working for all these task. So please can any one help me to solve this problem.
