Thanks for releasing this block.
It seems It is not installing on Moodle 2.2.2+ (Build: 20120323). I just tried it!
I got the following message:
"You must solve all the plugin requirements before proceeding to install this Moodle version!"
It requires "Moodle 2012120300".
Please advise.
Thanks.
The plugin version that you are using is designed and tested for Moodle 2.4 and 2.5 . Am not sure if it will work on Moodle 2.2, if you want to give it a try, update the requires in version.php of the file to your moodle version. Please note am not sure it will be bug free in 2.2 as I have not tested in that version of moodle.
Hope that helps.
Thanks
I do have one question, though. I have Moodle installed in a subdirectory. When I post to FB via this plugin, the name of the site in the main directory is posted. (See screencap at https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-IkC5kVMU6ecUZranlzbVdpcTA/edit .) That is a real problem for me.
How do I tweak this? What file do I edit?
Regards,
Art
How can get like this one (I use firebug to customize, however I don't know where it is). Have a look at the following picture)
@phuong hoang
Changing css of the plugin is against Facebook terms as far as I know. You can only choose between dark or light colored theme for the plugin. However if you really want it, you can always use the sdk and write a app that does it, without breaking any Facebook policies.
@Art Lader
I am not sure if that is possible either. It must already be linking to correct url, however am not aware of a way to force Facebook to show complete url instead of domain name in such situations. If you manage to find a way out, I would be more than happy to help you implement it.
Warning: http://turismo.e-lgst.net/course/view.php?id=4 is unreachable.
It seems that can not access to the web page or do not have the permission.
Anyway, very good plugin!
The page Url you are using is hidden behind login, hence facebook cannot reach it. You can either allow facebook secured access based on useragent and other things, or you can use an alternate url which is public, for example the site url. You should be able to keep using the current url as well, but it is not recomended to do so.
Thanks
I am not developer and probably I am a bit confused and obfuscate about this matter. The pluggins ask for the API. I have been reading about it and I think that I understand it but although I put it every pluggin, none of them is working so I think it is my fault.
Can someone give to me some extra info about it. What I did is:
- Facebook Developer --> Create new App.
- Facebook generates the app and it gives to me two things.
App ID: (number)
App Secret: (secret number)
- I use the App ID in the config fbcomment pannel.
Do I need to do something more? Because the only thing I achieve is to have the block but without nothing inside.
Thanks for any help and very sorry for the troubles.
