This plugin provides five graphs that may facilitate the identification of student profiles. Those graphs allow the teacher to send messagens to users according to their behaviour inside a course. The graphs show:

  1. Grades Chart - The grades distribuition in a box graph to identifiy the differences among evaluations and students with problems.
  2. Content Accesses Chart - Which users accessed many different rsources.
  3. Number of Active Users Chart - How manu users are active in a certain time of day.
  4. Assignment Submissions Chart - Which users have submited assignments on time or late (tasks, quizzes and hotpotatoes).
  5. Hits distribution Chart - How each user is accessing the course and its resources in each cours week.

It is possible to click over graph elements in order to send email to a group of students (first two graphs) or to a particular student (last graph).

Marcelo - it sounds like you want to leave the plugin open to include more analytics, so let's go ahead and leave the plugin name as it is. Feel free to update the filenames and resubmit for approval. Peace - Anthony

Hi Marcelo. Thanks for providing updated versions. It definitely looks progressing - we're not there yet though.
I discovered some serious bugs in the code that I reported into your bug tracker. Most notably the CSS (your styles.css affect all the site) and the emailing issue are the approval blockers for now. Also, I must say the overall UI and the coding style is pretty far from common Moodle standards / experience. Pity, because I think the idea is really good and it indeed has a big potential.
I must mark this as needing more work for now. Thanks for your patience with the approval

Good luck with it and the maintenance of the plugin. You are cleared to land now, welcome to the Plugins directory!

it would be good if I show as a way of reporting not only for students if teachers also , to show me everything in general not only a course but just this super- plugin.

    Hi Marcelo,

Congratulations and thanks for you useful plugin. I've tested it in my site and everything seems to be working as it's expected except the filter for groups in 'Hits distribution'. Only one student is visible when there're more than one. All is OK with 'show all groups' but the only issue is displaying group participants in 'Hits distribution'. I'm on Moodle version 2.7 and I tested it with different courses with groups.

We have a new version of the plugin (2.0). It has a new graph which is useful to identify which assessments where easier or more difficult and how grades distribute in each one.

Hi, I'm currently running a Moodle 2.9.3+ site and planning to update it to Moodle 3 or 3.1 (sometime in the future), and i would love to have your plugin installed. I do, however, have a question: have you tested in a Moodle 3+ environment?

    Thanks

Hi, I'm running the latest version of the plugin. I also use the Collapsed Topics format to hide the links to resources and quizzes. This may be the reason that only the visible resource links are displayed in the Content Access graphs. If you could give ideas on how to include the hidden links to resources would be a great help.

Hi Marcelo, Thank you for this plugin, it promises the kind of functionality we are looking for. I just tried the block version 3.0. The link Hotpot submissions gives an error message. Perhaps this link should only show if there are hotpots in the course? My main issue is that the Content accesses page does not scale to suit a course with a lot of content (at least not in my browser). The information on it is as good as illegible.
