You really don't. Moodle 4.0 has been unsupported since December last year.

To answer your question, the branch is MOODLE_400_STABLE and the final version was 4.0.12, so I have even less idea why you would want to install 4.0.2. Which by the way is 2022041902, so none of this makes any sense.

There is no release (that I can find) with version 20220711.

And, YES, Moodle's branch numbering is ridiculous and almost designed to cause confusion.

It may not be exactly what you mean, but you can't upgrade 4.0 to 4.4. The minimum version to upgrade to 4.4 is 4.1.2.

You have to assume it is.

That doesn't mean it actually is but it's not "supported" doing what you want to do. So, it's up to you to test it.
