A firewall?

Sensible practice is only to open the ports that you absolutely need and, if possible, only for IP addresses that need to access them. In fact, running an nmap scan against your servers is probably a good idea.

Sadly, it doesn't make any difference.

I did a bit more digging and debugging "turned up to 11" appears to be hard-coded in the behat setup script.

Clearing completion data doesn't lose any user data. It is recalculated from the status of the completion-enabled activities.
