It seems it is a particular glitch because today I got another email. I have just added the report to the Tracker.

I'm sure it must have been a glitch after the current changes, but I thought it would better to mention it just in case someone else happens to see the same. Thanks!
Just to inform, given the current testing phase, that today I received a moodle.org forum digest eventhough I'm not suscribed to the General help forum, nor to any other forum, and I'm not suscribed, nor to the particular thread referenced at the message: "Re: Could not create guest user record" nor to any other.
This is your daily digest of new posts from the Moodle - Open-source learning platform | Moodle.org forums. To change your default forum email preferences, go to your user profile.

Hello Ralph,
No, you may use the same or a higher version.
That means you need to upgrade, from your current 5.5.5.x.x to a 5.5.31 or greater release.
If you can't upgrade the database then you won't be able to upgrade Moodle to its latest version.
Hello Mark,
Have you checked that the mdl_pma_history table has a column table?
Maybe you could enable Debugging to possibly get more detailed info about the error. Do check the web server error log, too.
Regarding the reason for the Atto HTML editor not having color tools, it has to do with accesibility. You may search the forums here, there are some threads about this issue.
@Ken
I imagine that the mdl_pma_history table belongs to the very old and now defunct Moodle PHP/Myadmin Utility, now Adminer:

Yes... it seems to be so:

The replace script doesn't know about the purpose of each column so it simply goes through each column (of text type) of each table, searching for the old string and replacing it with the new one.
