Sorry, yes, you're right - that's a bug. The hyphen stuff was previously fixed in another place (user/edit.php) but not on signup. I've fixed signup.php in CVS too.

Can some or all of you create a mock-up of how your ideal course-listing would look? Just use a HTML editor or even a graphics program and attach the file here.

That would help me estimate how much work this would be to do.

As you've noticed the files/index.php script does everything itself - that's a hangover from an ancient time when I thought I'd release it as a standalone script. Much better that it uses the standard functions, yes.

That's right - mail copies of posts aren't sent until the mail is finalised. The same time limit applies to notifications of journal and assignment feedback in a slightly different way - these mailouts aren't sent until 30 minutes (or whatever you've set for "maxeditingtime") after the last edit by the teacher.

When I'm testing I turn maxeditingtime down to 1 minute.
