Hi - I'm new to Moodle and to this Forum. Sorry if someone has already asked this - I've search a ton before I posted, but couldn't find any similar posts.
We had just created our first content using H5P Columns which included portrait/vertical screen videos. They displayed perfectly in a video player.... but since we have upgraded to Moodle 3.9 the player is gone and now the video displays right in the content. Since they are vertical formats - they take up an entire screen and are very unattractive in the display.
I've attempted to resolve this with the help of two different Moodle contractors - but still no solutions. Redoing the videos in landscape/horizontal is not as option as our students learn on their phones, and these are instructional videos based on how they would interact with the content.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue? Are there any suggestions on how to improve the look of these videos in the H5P Columns?

No need to re-post your question as I am moving your discussion thread to the Moodle for mobile forum...
As we know, this first release of H5P Interactive Book has some issues (e.g. to Moodle Gradebook).
Even so, as you are building a mobile app, I believe your question may be better placed in the Mobile App forum.
We are facing issue while playing H5P Interactive video on iOS moodle mobile application.
As per the apple suggestions we have integrated WKWebView on iOS mobile application and created a build. But it is not playing the h5p vidoes.
We followed the steps for installation of WKWebView plugin.
Thanks in advance.

I think you should approach the question in 2 parts.
Part 1 is "how do I create a linear navigation through a set of pages?" Probable answers are Book, Lesson, or another plugin
Part 2 is "how do I embed [insert video platform] videos in these pages?" The answer depends on the platform that you use.
In terms of platforms, you may want to make sure that you can mark the videos private on the platform (so that people can't access your content outside Moodle, and yet playable as embedded files in Moodle.
Hi, I am teaching a course in China, and Youtube is blocked in China. I tried to embed a video from Bilibili (the Chinese Youtube) but it doesn't play. Can anyone give me some explanation on how to embed the video on my moodle?
I embedded the video in this forum and surprisingly it worked. But when I try it on my local moodle it is just frozen. Any help?
This is the code
<iframe src="//player.bilibili.com/player.html?aid=969638358&bvid=BV1dp4y1e7s8&cid=238142954&page=1" scrolling="no" border="0" frameborder="no" framespacing="0" allowfullscreen="true"> </iframe>
Our client runs Moodle 3.7.2
They use a file repository that has been setup on the DB vm. Their environment is 1 load balancer, 2 app nodes and 1 DB vm.
All their videos (mp4) are loaded to the file repository to use the Mobile app offline advantage that Moodle has.
Videos are linked into activities using the alias link option as shown below. (No external aliases exists).
The course back-up and restore runs successfully.
On the original course, all videos work as expected. On the restored course, some videos (not all) states "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed, or because the format is not supported."
- I can't see a difference between the ones that work and does not work on the restored course, Their alias link is intact and references the correct file. If I copy the source URL and paste in my browser it works.
- Opening and saving the activity resolves it, but they don't want to do this for hundreds of activities on restored courses.
- Any advice?
Hello. I have the same problem with a quiz. Not transferring grades to gradebook. I saw videos and the student should see a submmit button. But its not working.
