Hi everyone I use Moodle 3.10.3+ When I create h5p activities in the content bank, the names correspond to the actions they perform, for example drag-and-drop, multiple-choice and others. Is it possible to rename these activities? Thanks

An admin can do anything on the site, including creating a lesson with H5P content. However, switch role occasionally doesn't work as expected. I suggest instead that you create a test student account then log out and log in as the student to test things.
I created a lesson as an admin, and when I added an H5P activity and switched to student role, it was written that the person who added the lesson wasn't allowed to.
Do I have a to create a account for me as a teacher?
Good day everyone
I have paid a developer to make CSS changes to my Moodle installation iframe so that H5P Image sequencing looks more like it does on a computer, with three images alongside each other, instead of one image per row, which makes it very hard for students to complete the task.
It looks great when viewed on a mobile browser , but still only shows one block per row on the Moodle app. Seems the changes to the CSS and iframe is not showing on the Moodle app. If someone could point me in the right direction or perhaps give me a snippet of code to insert , I would be eternally greatful , these changes has already cost me quite a bit of money , I really hope it can look the same in the moodle app
We have been wrestling with this problem for a few weeks now
I may have narrowed the problem (hopefully) to H5P
I created a simple 2 item course.
- WITHOUT H5P activity ticked/included - the backup works in 3 seconds
- WITH H5P activity ticked/included - the backup fails and result in Internal Server Error after 5mins 30 secs
Apache Logs centre around:
[proxy_fcgi:error] [...] AH01071: Got error 'PHP message: setting controller status to 1000PHP message: saving controller to db', referer: https://moodle-domain-name/backup/backup.php
We have done the usual - increase various timeouts, verify space, ownerships/permissions, raise extra memory, etc. (Other large courses backup no problems - just the one/s with H5P). Also these problematic courses backup fine on their original Moodle 3.5 (vanilla LAMP) and also backup no problem when we use an internal database (instead of external Azure RDS)
Can anyone suggest a route to explore? TIA
Can you recommend a fix to this problem?
I have upgraded our Moodle 3.9 to Moodle 3.11 in a new server (php8.0, apache2 installed). Apparently, H5P (mod_h5pactivity) is not displaying properly. I have checked the libraries and content type versions and they all are the same as the previous version. I have tried debugging mode, but no errors appeared. Only when I tried the mobile app that errors do show when an H5P loads.
Error call to a member function get_pathhashname() on bool.
Most of the activities rely on H5P.
Your help are very much welcome.
This issue should have been resolved.
If you are still experiencing this issue with your site, please submit a support ticket from your Portal.
MoodleCloud support can then investigate further for you. Please provide as much information (including URL's and the activity types you are attempting to create).
Hello everyone. I must be missing something obvious but cant figure out how to add pre-existing uncategorized questions to a question bank category. I have a course with several topic sections, so its:
Course: Paramedic Refresher
Section 1: Airway
Section 1 topic 1
Section 1 topic 1 quiz (H5P)
Section 1 topic 2
Section 1 topic 2 quiz
Section 2: Cardiac
Section 2 topic 1
Section 2 topic 1 quiz
Section 2 topic 2
Section 2 topic 2 quiz
In Settings > More > Categories the drop down for Section 1 Airway shows all the questions. The drop down for Section 2 Cardiac shows no question even though they exist in the actual course. How can I get the questions from the section 2 cardiac quiz to appear in, and be associated with, the cardiac category. Or, how the heck do I get to work for the Airway section1? 🙃
Many thanks for any info and patience.
