how to get moodle to backup

Trying to backup my website and copy it to my harddrive.

From Home / ► Administration / ► Course backup I tick mark every box I see.  But when I look at the resulting zip file only the attachments have been backed up.

Does anyone know what is happening here?  I am use to backup/restore routines being rather straightforward, but this one really has me stumped.

Your help much appreciated.

Thank you for the response.

I read those FAQs hoping for some insight with no luck.  With your prompting, however, I reread and I think I found the answer.  Thanks.

Apparently if courses are unavailable to students AND have not been changed in the last month they won't be backed up.

I'm developing my course so naturally it isn't available.

Do you or anyone else know of a way around this?  A way to back up courses that are under development and therefore aren't available to students?

Thank you.

Hello,

if you modify your course, it should be automatically backuped smile

You can also always do manual backups wink
