For example, I create a lesson and at the end I want the student to receive a certificate.
Do I have to have both certificate modules (I've only found two -- there may be more) at the same time? One for individual activities and one for end-of-course?
I couldn't really get a clear answer searching the forum. I asked something like this once before, but I didn't do a good job of asking the question. Hopefully this is a little more straight forward.
tnx in advance
Not sure, but maybe this will help a bit --http://docs.moodle.org/en/Certificate_module#Lesson_dependency_trick_1.
Maybe someone else can jump in here if that's off-base.
I recently installed and used the Certificate module created by Chardelle Bunch (not certificate FAT). I don't think they work together. I would delete the FAT version and go with the other. Once you have it installed, you can create an activity in the module and this will create the certificate. There are options for email or other delivery. It is a good package. I would recommend the reports module as well.
Not sure what happened with the rating. I gave you a very good one, but it seems to be a bit garbled right now.
