Teaching with Moodle

At the moment I can't think of a way for this to work - if there's a way to get grades 'rolling up' using metacourses then I haven't found it. I think this will tie in with the 'course completiuon' development scheduled for Moodle v2.0, which should hopefully let you define exactly what 'course completion' means, which is a step closer to being able to collate all course results together somewhere. Check here for info on the course completion development. I believe Chardelle Busch has also done some customisation work to pull all results together in one place (see here for more details) - she would probably be a good person to ask about what you're after.
