During the testing of Eclipse itself I tested also this IDE release on Vista and basicly it worked ok if default location for workspace was selected - although installing moodle itself to Vista is a little bit different than on XP - you need to create config.php manually and if workspace is not set to default value finding the location of config.php seemed to throw some errors...
The best part was the capability to select pre-configured settings for getting files from cvs.
I finally got also the CVS line endings to work on Vista - thanks to Mathieu - http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=99001#p441572 (if this change is not done some files may brake the code for whitespaces when you download them to Windows using cvs)
