Whenever I have to display user pics, there is a huge delay.
Testing on a 800KB/s link, displaying a forum thread with 2 user pictures can take up to 10-12 seconds.
Displaying a graphic intensive plain HTML page on the same server is instantaneous.
This is probably related to GD, but I have absolutely no idea where to look for.
Any help or pointer to another ressource would be VERY appreciated.
