Gradebook

Hey, guys

I am a current user of moodle 1.9. I absolutely
love all the new features that are offered in
1.9., but I have a need to customize the
gradebook feature.

On a current 1.9. gradebook, there is a "grader
report" view, where you can click on "Turn Editing
On" button to punch in grades and comments.

However, on the "User report" view, you are not
allowed to punch in grades and comments. I want
to customize the "User report view" so I can punch in
grades and comments on "User Report" view. That
means, it must have "Turn Editing On" button on
the "User Report" view. Also, I would like to
have all the features that are offered in "Grader
Report" view, such as collapsing/expanding of each
category. (Aggregates only(-), Grades only(+),
Full view (full view))

Also, obviously, students should not be able to have a
permission to see "Turn Editing On" button when they
log in.

This customized "user report" view is particularly
useful because it lets the teacher view the
progress of each student, and punch in grades and
feedbacks. The current "Grader
Report" view shows everybody's grades based on the
items, and it is inconvenient when I have a lot of
items to be graded because it expands to the side
ways.

I am not a computer programmer, so I will need a detailed
steps and procedures to implement the modification.
(I was able to install the moodle 1.9 myself, but that's my limit.)
You can make this modification as a module or "User + Grader Report"
view plug-in, so it will be easier for me to install.
