I'm sure this will be a fairly simple one to answer.
We're running Moodle version 1.9 (soon to be 1.9.1) and I have a question about setting up a quiz to work as a post-course evaluation. I haven't worked with the quiz module much...but looking at our copy of the Moodle: E-Learning book it says you can rig up a quiz to act like a course survey.
So I've got three simple short answer questions, and I want the professors to be able to review what the students said...but I'm not sure how to get the student responses to display for an instructor...and the easier it is to do this the better because my instructors aren't terribly Moodle savvy.
I tried running a report for the quiz/eval but I don't think that was the thing to do.
Oh and installing the third party evaluation/polling module isn't an option unfortunately because our sysadmin has some reserves about customizing Moodle.

Perhaps this is what you need and as a contrib this is not really a third party...

I agree, and although detailed responses is a 3rd party module, a lot of people use it, including us here at the OU, and it will be included as standard in Moodle 2.0. Also, it does not use any special database tables, nor use the course files area - it just pulls data out of the database and displays it, so it is a very safe plugin to install.
