Flag "Hide description before available date" set to "yes".
Description field does now show as expected when a student tries to click on the Assignment link itself;
however, if accessed via the Calendar or Upcoming Events, on the due date, the description shows.

... luckily, I was able to act like a

-ing up. Disabling the due date solves this obviously so that the students cannot access the description; however, then the instructor needs to manually go in and close the Assignment and there is no indication for the students that the event is upcoming.
Looks as though there is missing relationship link somewhere?
ie Calendar only reads off due date but the flag to hide the description is only triggered by available date - the 2 are seen as separate entities.If I am wrong and just missing something, please do let me know!!
