I notice that the PHP files for Moodle contain about 70 000 words and the HTML files about 80 000 words. I'm thinking of assisting a couple of local translators in translating Moodle, but we would like to start with the most important or most frequently used files.
Which files would you say are the most used or most important ones in Moodle? I mean, if a user wants to translate just a 1000 or 2000 words, which files should he select so that his efforts have maximum impact on Moodle in his language?
Is there a list of files in order that they should preferably be translated?

Hi,
I think beginning with the file "moodle.php" of the lang pack is a good start. But did you check if your language already has a translation?
